Retroid Pocket Nova Buttons

Retroid Pocket Nova Buttons for Repair, Refresh and Personalisation

Your handheld’s buttons are the most direct physical connection between you and the game. The Retroid Pocket Nova Full Buttons product family exists for one clear purpose: to let you replace or customise the main controls on your Retroid Pocket Nova without buying an entirely new console.

This is a full button set, not a single isolated key. The set covers the important front controls: the D-pad ABXY buttons and the system/navigation buttons used for Start, Select, Home and Return. That makes it a practical choice if you are repairing a worn set, refreshing a heavily used handheld, or changing the visual style of your Nova to match your setup.

As a parent product, this listing covers the full colour family. The shared part type and button coverage stay the same across the range; the finish changes by variant. Available options include Black, Ice Blue, Retro, Watermelon, 16Bit, Clear Purple, GC and Crystal.

Complete Nova Full Buttons Set with the Controls You Actually Use

The key value here is completeness. A single missing or tired button can interrupt your handheld experience, but mismatched replacements can be just as frustrating visually. This Retroid Nova button set gives you the principal controls together, helping your Nova look consistent after a repair or modification.

• D-pad included: ideal for retro platformers, fighting games, arcade titles and menu navigation.
• ABXY buttons included: the main action buttons used across emulation, Android games and streaming setups.
• Start/Select buttons included: useful for retro systems, save-state shortcuts and in-game menus.
• Home/Return buttons included: supports the handheld’s system navigation layout.
• DIY-focused part: designed for users who are comfortable opening and servicing their handheld.

For handheld enthusiasts, small parts matter. A fresh set of handheld buttons can make a device feel cleaner, more personal and better aligned with your preferred gaming style. It also gives modders an easy way to create a colour-accent build without changing shells, screens or electronics.

Eight Colour Options for Your Retroid Nova Accessory Build

The shared function is the same across the family, but the colour choice changes the personality of your handheld. Retroid gives you eight versions to choose from, covering subtle, translucent, retro-inspired and console-inspired finishes.

Available colour variants

• Black: a clean, minimal finish for a low-profile repair or OEM-style refresh.
• Ice Blue: a cool accent option for a lighter, brighter handheld aesthetic.
• Retro: a classic-inspired look for players who want vintage handheld character.
• Watermelon: a colourful option for a playful, high-visibility mod.
• 16Bit: a nostalgic colourway for fans of classic 16-bit era controller styling.
• Clear Purple: a translucent-inspired look that suits transparent and modded builds.
• GC: a console-inspired colourway with a familiar retro gaming feel.
• Crystal: a clear-style option for a lighter custom look.

If you are replacing damaged controls, choose the colour closest to your original setup. If you are customising, think about contrast: dark shells often work well with Ice Blue, Crystal or Clear Purple, while retro-themed builds naturally pair with 16Bit, Retro or GC.

Replacement Buttons That Restore the Feel of Your Handheld Routine

Buttons wear because they are used constantly. Directional inputs, action presses, menu shortcuts and system navigation all happen through these small parts. If your existing buttons are damaged, scratched or simply no longer match the look you want, a dedicated Retroid Pocket Nova buttons set is the cleanest way to refresh the controls.

This product is especially useful for players who carry their Nova daily, swap it between bags, use it for retro libraries, or perform frequent handheld modifications. Instead of treating the buttons as cosmetic extras, Retroid packages the main control surfaces together so you can maintain a consistent layout after servicing.

What this enables in real use

• Repair: replace damaged or worn front buttons on a Retroid Pocket Nova handheld.
• Personalisation: change the button colour to match a shell, case, grip or theme.
• Restoration: refresh a device that has seen heavy use without replacing the whole console.
• Modding: mix a colour variant into a broader DIY handheld project.

This is not a performance upgrade like a processor or display swap. Its value is tactile, visual and practical: it helps the handheld you already own feel closer to the way you want it.

DIY Installation Notes for the Retroid Pocket Nova Button Set

The Retroid Pocket Nova Full Buttons are a Nova DIY part, which means they are intended for users comfortable with handheld servicing. You should expect to open the device to access the button assembly area. If you have never worked inside a handheld before, take your time, use the correct tools and keep track of small screws and internal components.

DROIX recommends reviewing your device carefully before starting any installation. Work on a clean, static-safe surface, avoid forcing clips or ribbons, and separate each stage of the teardown so reassembly is straightforward. If you are unsure, seek help from an experienced technician.

Best practice before you start

• Power down fully: never work on the handheld while it is powered on.
• Organise parts: keep screws and removed components in order.
• Check orientation: compare old and new buttons before reassembly.
• Test carefully: confirm button placement and movement before closing the device completely.

This listing is for the button set only. The Retroid Pocket Nova console is sold separately. Tools, adhesives, shells, membranes and other internal components are not specified as included unless stated separately in the product options or packaging.

Who Should Buy These Retroid Pocket Nova Replacement Buttons?

This accessory is for practical handheld owners as much as it is for modders. If your Retroid Pocket Nova is part of your daily gaming routine, the controls are the part of the device you interact with most. A fresh button set can be the difference between a handheld that feels tired and one that feels ready for another round.

Repair-focused users

If your current buttons are marked, damaged or no longer match the standard you want from your handheld, these replacement buttons let you refresh the main control surfaces. The complete set approach is useful because it avoids a mixed look across the D-pad, ABXY and system buttons.

Custom-build enthusiasts

If you are building a themed Nova, the colour range gives you more control over the final look. Choose Clear Purple or Crystal for a transparent-style setup, GC or 16Bit for retro inspiration, or Black for a clean understated build.

Collectors and long-term owners

Handheld collectors often keep spare parts for devices they plan to maintain over time. Because this is an official Retroid accessory for a specific model, it is a sensible addition to a maintenance kit if the Nova is a device you intend to keep using.

Retro gaming players

Players who spend time in D-pad-heavy genres such as platformers, puzzle games, fighters and arcade titles know how important front controls are. This set gives you the key physical controls in one matched family.

Retroid Nova Accessory Specifications and Variant Guide

The specification story for this product is intentionally simple: it is a full button accessory for one handheld model, available in multiple colour variants. That clarity matters, because choosing the right part is mostly about compatibility and finish.

For most buyers, the decision comes down to two questions: do you need a repair part, or do you want a visual upgrade? If it is a repair, match the original colour or choose Black for simplicity. If it is a custom build, pick the colour that completes the theme of your Nova.
