Description
The A95X Max Plus features the Amlogic S922X processor which has received very impressive benchmark results beating the vast majority of Android TV boxes released so far. The A95X Max Plus S922X processor is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 & dual-core Cortex-A53 1.7GHz for the highest possible speed for one of the best Android box for TV in 2020.
The Smart TV box comes with a generous 4GB RAM which is plenty for fast switching between apps. It has 64GB storage which is more than capable of holding all your favourite software. Combined with Android 9.0, it offers great speed, optimised app usage and most importantly reliability!
The case design is the most striking feature, measuring (L x W x H): 12.50 x 7.50 x 7.50 cm / 4.92 x 2.95 x 2.95 inches, it is more of a small tower than a traditional flat rectangular (boring) Android box design. The stylish grey colour case stands out, with a grooved cutout that would look great in any home.
Inside the device are all the usual features found in a streaming box. Connectivity is well handled with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2 & 5G WiFIi and Bluetooth 4.2 for devices such as keyboards or bluetooth headphones. There is also a 1000M ethernet LAN that provides very fast transfer speeds. Peripherals such as memory sticks can be plugged into any of the two USB 3.0 ports or the two USB 2.0 ports. Inside is space to install a 2.5″ HDD or SSD.
Not only is the Android TV box great for videos and streaming it is great as an Android gaming box. It comes with a standard remote control but also comes with a Wii style controller. There are a number of compatible games installed such as Bowling, Curling, Darts and Boxing. The quality of the games is very good and are playable for people of all ages. The controller feels comfortable and responds very well to hand or arm movement.
The A95X MAX Plus offers the best of both worlds whether it be a streaming TV box or an android tv box for gaming. The fast and more than capable processor handles it all effortlessly!
