Description
The Retroid Pocket 3 retro gaming handheld is a revised model of the massively popular Retroid Pocket 2+ retro console, bringing improvements and new features.
The Retroid Pocket 3 features the ARM Unisoc with Cortex A75 & A55 CPUs running at 2.0GHz and 1.8GHz respectively. The graphics is powered by the PowerVR GE8300 running at 800Mhz which is great for 8 and 16-bit retro gaming on a handheld. Coming with 3GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB EMMC storage. The storage can be expanded via a micro SD card.
Measuring just 7.2 x 3.1 x 0.9 inches (18.4 x 8.1 x 2.4 cm) and weighing 240g, the Retroid Pocket 3 is extremely portable, easily fitting in a jacket pocket or small bag. There is a 4.7” touchscreen that is bright and vibrant to game on providing pixel perfect graphics! The built-in controls on this Android retro gaming handheld include clickable dual analogue sticks, d-pad, gaming buttons and an Android based Home button.
There is also a built-in screen mapper to map the controls to Android games that do not natively support controllers! The easy-to-use screen mapper simply requires drag and drop icons to on-screen button areas to configure. You can gain the upper hand on first person shooters against those still playing on awkward on-screen controls!
The Retroid Pocket 3 has HDMI output via a micro HDMI port so you can also enjoy retro gaming on the big TV. It has WiFi 5 for online access including the Google Play Store to download and update apps. On supported emulators you can even play multiplayer online with friends on the retro gaming handheld.
The handheld gaming console is powered by a 4000mAh rechargeable battery which in our tests lasted 6 hours running benchmarks and over 6 hours running Mega Drive / Genesis emulator. The Retroid Pocket 3 has very impressive battery life! With the Retroid Pocket 3 you can enjoy retro gaming on all the classic 8 and 16-bit consoles for many hours, you can even explore some newer consoles!
