NUC stands for Next Unit of Computing, first introduced by Intel in 2021. A NUC is a small PC that generally measures no more than several inches in size. It contains everything you would expect to find in a desktop style computer, a motherboard, processor, RAM and storage.

A NUC is a great alternative to a traditional desktop PC. The size is the obvious comparison with the PC being far larger, taking up considerably more space than a NUC.
