ANBERNIC RG351MP Case

Whilst Anbernic claim device can emulate everything up to PSP, N64 and Dreamcast, it isn't entirely honest. Those systems struggle badly for the most part. With work you can get them to run better but still not great. Manage expectations however, and you will still find a lot to like with what it CAN do. Games coming pre installed is a nice touch, though you will want to build your own library. The build itself is robust and well made. The controllers in particular are excellent. This product is well worth a purchase for those getting into emulation.

its absolutely fun
- obviously the handheld games are the best fit, where some of the console games can show glitches; accordingly some grafics might not look as "crisp" as they used to, but thats probably dueto the dpi/resolution differences
- some games seem to be in a demo version (found 1 sofar)
- also, the wifi dongle makes the rg351 emit odd electric noises, but only through the speakers from what i can tell
- the "+" control feels very uncomfortable in the up/right directions, as i tend to simultaneously push on the button and case; but that may mainly be dueto the size of my thumbs
- the hackability seems limited (not sure if the SD card slot has a QC or warranty sticker either)

This machine is pretty good however I find firmware too complex for me.
I am autistic and I don't have PC to upgrade to better firmware I think machine Is capable of running more intense systems like Dreamcast and Psp with right firmware I wish there was way of updating firmware over WiFi that would be great.I think also it would be nice for Droix to offer that facility to customers at a fair price of course.i think all the Anbernic range of handheld are well made.lastly Great service from Droix item arrived quick.

Excellent handheld, my only issue is the lack of built in wifi. I didn't think it would be much of a problem since it comes with a usb wifi adapter, but if it disconnects when you are playing a game, it can crash the console. If you are interested in using Retro Achievements then i suggest you only purchase this console if you are able to install a wifi chip yourself. I got sick of losing progress in a game when I accidently bumped the usb adapter loose so i soldered in my own wifi chip and its worked perfectly ever since.

There isn't enough room for an RG351P and the peripherals to sit comfortably inside. When closing the zipper, there's a distinct feel that everything is a bit too tight in there. Other than that, the case is pretty solid.

Powered on and worked great out of the box. The outer case is plastic, but the unit is quite light as a result. The DPad is a bit rough, its useable but at the bottom end to be honest. If you want something with a bit more weight to it and a better DPad, order the MP version

Very nice bit of kit on the whole. Reasonable price, good form factor, reminiscent of gba/psp (love the purple colour). Decent quality components for the money and worked straight out of the box (I am not technically minded).

Only issue I’ve had is I can’t mount the sd card on windows 10 (inc using third party disk managers), so have had to use the WiFi to add games instead. Your guide for doing this was helpful thanks and it is straight forward I just imagine it’s a fair bit slower.

The only thing I would like to see improved (like most people I’m greedy!) is improved n64 performance and a significantly larger screen. If they can get this out without losing the reasonable, impulse buy pricing and before steam deck releases I will defo buy another.

Your service was excellent and my console was despatched the same day in perfect condition so would defo buy from you again.

Great device, very happy with it. The only issue is the sd card. My pc won’t read it to enable me to add more games. I’ve checked it against other sd cards and it works fine. It’s a bit annoying but I’ll have to add the firmware to another card and redownload all the roms

Does what it says on the tin. Slightly lacking in build quality
