ANBERNIC RG353P Protective Case

It does the job and works fine, to hold and protect the RG353P, but there are tiny things. I wouldn't recommend putting anything, except a screen wipe in the top, as the case is very right and you will put pressure on the device, and the ANBERNIC branding, is on the bottom of the case, which is just a shame.

Great console great design!

This might not be the best chipset out there, but this is exactly the console I have been waiting for - a SNES controller with a screen in the middle and analogue sticks! Plays everything I would hope for, feels amazing, looks perfect.

Great handheld straight out of a box. Would recommend to install ArkOs though for better experience. Loving it. Fits in my hands a lot better than vertical ones I used to get.

I'm loving this Retro Gaming Handheld so much! I bought it knowing it could handle N64 and Dreamcast and it does not disappoint! I'm actually playing through some old Master System titles at the moment; properly reliving my youth. What an absolute blast! Very happy with my purchase. Can highly recommend this. Looks super cool in the clear black too!!

This is an excellent handheld and is really good for my key system PSX. However I have been issues getting firmware that works well. JelOS did not support Bluetooth audio or rumble and turning WiFi on and off was erratic. ArkOS appears better but after getting Bluetooth audio working I have been getting more system freezes. I will try stock firmware next. Also I was not sent my colour choice.

Had an rg353m which has very similar hardware and base setup, for a while which I love but has some issues with it being very small it can be hard to play some games. Also the rubber pads have come unstuck which makes your hands sticky so need to remove them and the glue.

This model doesn’t have any of these problems however. The larger width makes it easier to hold and play in your hands and love the retro NES controller aesthetic. No rubber grips to come unstuck. I imagined being plastic as opposed to metal, it might feel flimsy or fragile but instead it feels very sturdy and strong.

Considering these points and the incredible price around £100 I paid in the sale it’s an absolute bargain, months of fun in the palm of your hands. Can’t recommend it any higher, you can make the purchase with great confidence.

Only thing new users will struggle with is the setup of os and getting roms. To solve this I will be uploading my curated sd card images with my custom OS to git hub over the next few weeks for the community to enjoy.
