The RG351V is powered by the Rockchip RK3326, clocked in at 1.5GHz. It also features a respectable 1GB of DDR3L RAM. Between the RAM and the CPU, the RG351V is easily capable of handling a variety of platforms. From retro PC games to 5th generation home consoles, or even 7th generation handhelds.

The Anbernic RG351V retro handheld sizes up at approximately 14 x 9.4 x 2.68, making it a highly portable handheld console that can easily fit in your bag or suitcase, making it a perfect travel companion for long commutes, train rides, plane flights, or otherwise. In addition, the RG351V features a 640x480p screen allowing for crisp visuals in all your retro games.

Unlike its contemporaries, the Anbernic RG351V utilizes a unique twin-card storage design. With one SD card dedicated exclusively for the operating system and emulators, and the other card dedicated exclusively to games, it has never been easier to quickly and easily manage your collection across multiple SD cards, and add/remove titles on the fly without even needing to turn the system off.

The RG351V also packs a 3900mAh battery which enables it to run for up to a maximum of 6 hours off a single charge (lifetime will vary depending on CPU load and screen brightness).

Finally, the RG351V also features built-in Wi-Fi, granting access to added facilities such as database scraping for game art – to keep your collection of titles organized at their best.

Absolutely spot on, exactly what i was looking for!

If you're on the fence about getting a handheld then just get this one.
I was decided for around 2 months watching videos, reading reviews searching through setups and customisation.

Finally decided to go for the 351v, and i am not disappointed.
The screen looks fantastic
Battery life is great
Stock firmware is ok if you want to just dive in straight away, but this thing really starts stretching its legs when using custom firmware.
I'm new to all this so i went with 351Elec and takes this thing to a whole new level.

Built in wifi makes it incredibly easy to manage roms, themes etc, just using winscp and dragging and dropping. Any substantial file moves and you'll want to use usb of course.

Only negative i can think of is that it gets a little uncomfortable after about 2hrs. But dont read into that too much, when I say "a little" I mean a little. An easy trade off for what i would say is added nostalgia with the form factor.

This device is the real deal!

I wanted to wait a few week before posting a review to get a feel for the device. This is the first portable emulation device that I've ever purchased, I've always wanted one but held off from buying as none have met my requirements. And I can honestly say the RG351V goes beyond what I wanted. It is an excellent device. The service from Droix has been superb as well. Ordered the device in grey but there was an inventory issue on Droix's side and they had ran out (this things happen) so they sent out a transparent black one instead. Since setting it up I've moved everything (system and roms) over to 2 new sd cards and I have purchased a case off amazon that this works with perfectly.
I've mainly been playing SNES, GBA and PlayStation on this and all run perfectly although N64 still doesn't run great on the stock firmware.
Can't recommend this device enough.

Upgraded this from my RG350....it plays the same..but the form factor is sweet...that extra screen size makes all the difference to me as I thought the 350 screen was a touch small for my liking..oh the whole great handheld..if you have the RG350 type machine maybe not a major upgrade..but to me am not going back to the RG350
