Powered by a cutting-edge AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, the HX90 fully utilizes all eight-cores to their maximum potential, capable of running at up to frequencies of 4.6GHz. This gaming mini PC’s performance is further bolstered by the respectable dual-channel SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM running at speeds of up to 3200mHz. There is also an M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD to provide lightning-fast loading speeds for all your apps and games. 

Need more storage? Have no fear, as the HX90 also supports not one, but TWO 2.5 inch HDDs/SSDs of your choice with its built-in SATA III drive bays.

EliteMini HX90 best mini pc for home use

As far as I can tell this is a great machine. Very fast processing and for my use a huge storage capability. My main aim for buying it was to use it exclusively for cad drawing in fusion 360. My laptop struggled to load it and process the designs. The HX90 manages this in super fast time and it has saved me desk space. Perfect !!!

Powerful Mini PC.

My current PC is not windows 11 compatible, so was looking for a new PC and wanted something small yet powerful that could be VESA mounted to the back of my monitor to free up some much needed desk space (not mounted it yet, but its good it has that option). It has plenty of connectivity options, and space inside the chassis for 2 x 2.5" sata SSD's, which could be useful if you need more than 1TB of storage. I've used it for over a week now and am impressed by the performance. Was also quick and easy to upgrade to Windows 11. Based on experience thus far I'd definitely recommend it.

Just what I wanted!

I was looking for a PC that was small, quiet, cool and fast to replace my old large, noisy, hot and slowish ASUS A10-7850K which is not W11 compatible. Having shopped around the 256gb/16gb HX90 looked to be a fair priced option and the spec was spot on for my needs. Delivery was fast and setting up was a doodle. I quickly updated the installed W10 Pro and then immediately upgraded to W11 Pro. My only problem was in installing SSD's but helpful support from Stuart at Droix got me sorted ASAP. Now in my third week of daily use and the HX90 is just what I wanted but I'm not certain about W11? Happy to recommend the Minisforum HX90 but for me the jury's is out on W11!.
