Following the popular RG350, RG350M, and RG350P – the RG351P is Anbernic’s newest retro gaming handheld, taking the stage with a myriad of improvements that combined are certain to provide an outstanding handheld retro gaming console experience.

The first thing to note is that the RG351P includes the new Rockchip RK3326 Quad-core processor clocking in at a hefty 1.5GHz. This is also featured alongside the sizable 1GB of DDR3L RAM. With these suitably heavyweight specs in a portable package, the RG351P is capable of handling old arcade and PC titles, all the way up to 5th Generation consoles (PS1, N64, etc.) and even 7th Generation handhelds (PSP, etc.).

Sizing up at only 15.6×7.1×1.8cm, the RG351P is no less portable than its predecessors, and with a crystal clear 480 x 320 IPS display, enjoy crisp visuals with no compromise in visual quality or performance.

Carrying on from the RG350M and RG350P, the sleek low-profile analogue sticks, rubber grips on the rear, and symmetrical stick layout will immediately familiar. With the improved 3500mAh battery, game on-the-go for up to 7 hours (Note: actual lifetime will vary based on usage), and with the new low-power-indicator LED, stay on top of whenever you need to charge up.

Amazing Handheld!

I've spent a fair while emulating old consoles at home using my Raspberry Pi setup, but I'd always wanted a pick-up-and-go solution. The RG351P fits the bill perfectly! I'd recommend replacing the stock firmware with ArkOS for best results, plus I'd recommend a replacement branded SD card, but being able to switch between GB, MD and PSX games on the fly has certainly made my daily commute a lot more enjoyable.

Best Handheld Emulator I now own

Great little retro gamer

Fast delivery great price,. I wanted to avoid the pain that is an alliexpress delivery and droix have been great.

Works straight out of box, or you can customize it with various alternative firmwares if you have to skillz.

I recently purchase the rg351p and I'm very please and impress with the quality of the product and the games that comes with it. I have quiet a few different types of retro handheld console and the rg351p is one of the best ones i came across so far.

Good Device

Been looking into a handheld retro device for a while, the RG351P fits in to what I wanted to play and was very easy to set up with ARKOS installed within 10 minutes. Build quality is good, was disappointed not to get a pack I'm WiFi dongle but that's my fault for not asking. Great service and will definitely use again when I upgrade to the next line of devices when they get to dreamcast 60fps

Misleading, but still great.

Whilst Anbernic claim device can emulate everything up to PSP, N64 and Dreamcast, it isn't entirely honest. Those systems struggle badly for the most part. With work you can get them to run better but still not great. Manage expectations however, and you will still find a lot to like with what it CAN do. Games coming pre installed is a nice touch, though you will want to build your own library. The build itself is robust and well made. The controllers in particular are excellent. This product is well worth a purchase for those getting into emulation.

fun

its absolutely fun
- obviously the handheld games are the best fit, where some of the console games can show glitches; accordingly some grafics might not look as "crisp" as they used to, but thats probably dueto the dpi/resolution differences
- some games seem to be in a demo version (found 1 sofar)
- also, the wifi dongle makes the rg351 emit odd electric noises, but only through the speakers from what i can tell
- the "+" control feels very uncomfortable in the up/right directions, as i tend to simultaneously push on the button and case; but that may mainly be dueto the size of my thumbs
- the hackability seems limited (not sure if the SD card slot has a QC or warranty sticker either)
